The rains, trains and the pains

Writing after quite sometime......

Mumbai rains always have brought good memories year after year.... though we crib about the rains and the pains we take to travel in the drenched city, it still has a charm of its own.

The warm whiff of wada paav and chai at the raodside stalls trigger someting in the brain cells that make us forget everything and go for that binge in the rains, never mind the reprimand that we get at home for not having dinner ;)

Theres something that keeps us going through all this.... something that makes us want more of these rains which you dont get in other cities of the country.... something that makes our day

It gives us moments of pleasure and a timely break........

Somedays back we had one with the Bharat Bandh and good rains in the city, I enjoyed playing the tabla at home with my wife for tolerating my ameture performance....
and ofcourse we had great snacks at bread talk with freshly baked savouries and garma garam chai (we couldnt find a vada pav stall anywhere then)

Sometimes life has to stop, should stop and thats what we need at times.

An uncalled stopover in the daily routine..... makes my day
